The home stretch Hooray!!

We have just returned to New Zealand after a month in the UK where MB Yachts is putting the finishing touches to Wolfhound and she is looking amazing. Martyn, Jeff and Ben have built us the most incredibly wonderful yacht. She is all of our dreams and more! We have decided to leave her snug and warm in Martyn's shed until the Spring as we have missed the chance to get sea trials done and away across the Bay of Biscay before the winter weather sets in. Apart from the weather factor, the mast and rig is still here in NZ. It has been built by a truly talented company, Northland Spars and Rigging (NSR) in Opua, Bay of Islands. The attention to detail has been second to none and as a result we have a top quality rig which, due to the weak NZ $ was a very competative price. The sails are being built by North's loft in Auckland and will be shipped in a container with the rig early next year. So finally after so many years of hard work and some tough times we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. All very exciting.
